Out of all the media I create, this is, in my opinion, my best work.

This is a video recap of my YouTube channel, JondGames. The video aims to summarize all the things I do and work with within the video game Minecraft. Whether that is creating time lapses with a mod, or creating new machines using in-game circuitry.

To date, JondGames is my most popular personal YouTube channel, gaining over 200,000 video views, and a subscriber base of 750+.

With JondGames, I am currently partnered with the YouTube Network TGN, The Gaming Network.

About the video:
This year at Wired, I went strong at filming the events, doing so from every angle I could. My Opening Worship video I created shows the amount of cameras used at one time. But for this video, all of those shots are put together into a recap of the event.

This piece was shot by both me and FBCH, and put together by the church. A majority of the video between 0:05 and 1:25 was video I shot.

Wired is an annual event held at The Realm, hosted by the First Baptist Church of Harvester

This was the first sports game I shot photos of. At the game, I had a friend with me to keep me company, and help me while I live tweeted what would be FHN’s final football game of the season.

Once the game was over, and I was home, I sorted through the collection of photos I took, and posted the gallery on FHNtoday that night.

OctAbout the video:
This was both team’s final Varsity football game of the season before they moved on to playoffs. I hitched a ride with the football team, and rode to Washington, 40 minutes away. Right before the game began, I mounted a GoPro on both of the goal posts. I shot the first part of the game on the ground, and them moved up into the press-box for the rest of the game. Afterwards, I got an interview with coach Gregory back at FHN.

Award:
I took this video as my write-in to the fall High School Journalism convention in San Antonio. The video got an Honorable Mention in  Broadcast Sports Story.

About the video:
Being the most high-profile thing I have covered, the video above is my most successful, with 10,000+ direct and indirect views, and 500+ likes. I created a standard recap, with a voice-over, and included quite a few of Dr. Paul’s views. The day after the event, I posted my vlog during the event and all the raw video I got from the speech.

A clip of the video was reposted on YouTube user RonPaul2008dotcom’s channel, and made the video gain a majority of its success. When I deal with the data, I label the stats from that repost as indirect.

Context to the video: A few days prior to the event, a teacher from Lindenwood University came to FHN, and spoke about the Ron Paul event coming that Saturday. I was interested, and spoke to my adviser. Fast forward to the day of the event. I was there with 3 others, and we were fully armed with lenses, cameras, pads of paper, and questions. We were ready to cover the event. Then comes the video.

About The Video:
This is a video the FHNtoday Video team created to enter into the Keep The Drive contest, hosted by Allstate Insurance. You can see behind the scenes video from the vlog I filmed that day.

Update:
On May 5th, I found out that the video had taken 1st place in the contest!

About the video:
This is probably one of the videos that I am most proud of, mainly for its composition and emotional feel. Every year at Wired, hosted at The Realm, Saturday night is the big worship night. This year, the main event was lighting a candle and saying a prayer.

Context:
This is a clip from an hour and a half video taken at Wired 2012. The video this was clipped from can be found here, and the clipped segment starts around 40:42

About the video:
Going in to Wired is always a surprise, because I never know what the theme is. This is basically a bunch of b-roll to hype up the rest of the weekend of the event. Once the kick-off was over, I threw all of my video into my editing software, and got this published within an hour of sessions starting. I was very proud.
